I have entered some research after I bought my First "Made in England" Coleman with Neil McRae and Terry March trying to find out more facts about the UK based Coleman factory
I decided to share the info I find on this web page.
if you have more info that you would like to share please let me know
I would like to thanks Terry March and Neil McRae for sharing me in this.
It is a known fact the Coleman had a UK branch from 1921 this can be seen in this paper article
the London branch was called the Coleman quick lite cooperation LTD
and afterwards a Birmingham branch as well
the company had additional branches in :
Belfast & Dublin Ireland
Glasgow Scotland
No evidence of the factory in London as it was destroyed during WW2

Another interesting information is the debate if there was actually any manufacture of Coleman lanterns and lamps in the UK.
the most common opinion is that it was an assembly facility only from Canadian parts and stamped "Made in England" for publicity
an interesting piece of history is this letter as the earliest Coleman we have image of is a may/1954
