1.  C  Gas tips in the T44 gen seem to work better in older 220-228s series lanterns than the V Gas tips with modern Fuels
2.   252 Light output is much lower than most standard pressure lanterns
3.   Length variances of + or - 0.020" are not uncommon in 2991 suffex new style gens, especially the 335B-2991 gens
